The MD take on ‘What’s in my bag’ is back! This time, it’s our Team Riders Nina Rademaekers, Mans Thijssen, and Ebba Johansson who reveal the contents of their Kevin Grooming Bags. Care to guess who keeps a dish brush with them at all times? Read along to find out! 🙂‍↕

What’s in Nina Rademaekers’ grooming bag?

– In my grooming bag, I keep wet wipes, good brushes, horse treats, a hoof pick, scissors, and horse coat shine spray. And a dish brush! I use it to clean the hoofs, if you know, you know haha. I often use my Kevin Grooming Bag when I’m traveling. It’s great for carrying things like my laptop and my camera when I’m out and about.

What are your thoughts on the Kevin Grooming Bag?

– It’s incredible! It has so many compartments, it is very practical and easy to carry with you.

What patches do you style your Kevin with?

– I have the character patches for my initials N and R as well as the Maya Delorez Emblem patch.

What’s in Mans Thijssen’s grooming bag?

– I always make sure there are enough candies in there for my horses. 🍬 Also, some other necessities like a towel, a brush, and an extra pair of boots and reins in case my equipment fails. And if I am not wearing them already, you’ll find my MD riding gloves in there. 

Is there anything you only put in your bag sometimes?

– The only thing I’d put in occasionally is my MD Cap. When I need to walk a course or watch a jump-off after riding, I take my helmet off and wear my cap. 🧢

Which MD patches do you have?

– I spelled my initials MT on there with the Character Patches, and I also put the Maya Delorez Emblem Patch on there. I’m planning on putting some extra on there soon!

Generally, what do you think of the Kevin Grooming Bag? 

– It’s a super useful bag with handy features for the groom and rider, and while functional, it is a cool-looking bag at the same time.

What’s in Ebba Johansson’s grooming bag?

– Something I always keep in the bag is riding gloves. I used to ride without them, but now I feel like something is missing if I’m without them. I feel like I have steadier contact with them on as well. Things I keep in there only occasionally when I’m doing shows are snacks for myself. Cookies, chocolate, or a bar of some kind. 🍫 I rarely have the time to sit down and eat, and therefore it’s great to have something in there before entering the arena if I feel the energy draining.

Is there something you keep in your Kevin that you wouldn’t expect to find in a grooming bag?

– I actually don’t think I have something unexpected in there, just things I really need and use. Spurs, gloves, helmet, towel, leather conditioner, horse treats, a rain jacket and, when I’m riding, my phone and my wallet.

Which MD patches do you have?

– I have the Delorez Gang patch and my initials, EJ.

So, how do you like your Kevin Grooming Bag?

– I think Kevin is so practical! Large enough to fit everything you need, while still easy to carry and bring along. I love all the different compartments to help me stay organized – everything has its place so you don’t need to look for your stuff.
