What’s in Stephanie Holmén’s Grooming Bag?

– I always keep a towel, a brush, and treats for my horse in my Kevin. Also, I have a leather hole punch, wet wraps, and an extra pair of reins in there, too. Among other things! These are necessary items during shows, for example. Over the summer, I keep sunglasses in there as well. 😎  

Which patches do you use to style your Kevin?

– I have my initials SH on there, using the Character Patches. And then I have the Winners Train Losers Complain patch.

Do you have any other thoughts on Kevin you’d like to share?

– No other than the fact that he is perfect the way he is!


 

What’s in Rasmine Laudrup-Dufour’s Grooming Bag?

– I always keep a ring with all my spurs on, a sponge, a brush, a towel, and a lead rope in my Kevin. And a pair of extra gloves. And my phone! And rubber bands, plus a rain jacket.

What’s in Amelia Lilliehöök’s Grooming Bag?

– In my grooming bag, I keep all the things I might need during warm-up, before and/or after my round in the arena at a competition. Oftentimes, it's a long walk from the stable to the warm-up area, and we wouldn't make it in time if we needed to get something, Amelia says and continues:

– There’s always a water bottle, a towel, an extra pair of white gloves, an extra starting number, leather polish, treats for the horses, baby oil, a riding crop, and a NoShout communication set in my bag!

Is there anything you keep in the bag only for certain occasions?

– Sometimes, I keep an ear bonnet in the bag, just in case. Those are great to have if one of the ponies should be a little tense, or if I should be lucky enough to do a lap of honor! 😊 Sometimes, I’ll have white bandages at the bottom, too.

Is there anything unpredictable in your bag, something you might not expect to find in a grooming bag?

– Hm, maybe a chocolate bar for me. And a dragon, a unicorn, and a lion! If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know why. They’re not always there, all three of them, but at least one is, usually. 😉

– I have my name spelled out with the Character Patches, the Pony Power patch, and a heart.

What do you think of your Kevin Grooming Bag?

– I like the bag very much because you can fit so much stuff in it! It’s very smart with all the compartments in different sizes, these make it easy to keep the bag tidy. Also, it’s very cool that you can put patches on the front, and thereby change the appearance of the bag as you like.
